We played Norwich earlier in the season so we knew it would be a tough match, and the final score of a 47-7 loss makes it look one sided.
It was a game of two halves though, first half they dominated with some powerful running in the backs to go into the break 35-0 up. We suffered a string of injuries which disrupted our play through constantly juggling players into different positions.
In the second half we were more competitive, and looked more dangerous on the attack. Our scrum was dominant, which gave enough possession to make some ground and eventually we managed to break through their defensive line to score.
The game was stopped at the very end for a back injury to one of our players who was taken to hospital in an ambulance as a precaution. He has been discharged home with a sprained back and hip, but thankfully nothing more serious.
Afterwards the Norwich coaches said they could see some definite improvements since earlier in the season and that the boys have been working hard on their game.
