It’s a first time out in front of a home crowd for head coach Des Lloyd and captain Jim Storey, as the 1st XV begin their third season in Counties 1 EC against Diss.

Meanwhile we continue our efforts to bring regular 2nd team rugby back to Ely as the side welcome Mildenhall & Red Lodge in friendly action. If you haven’t been a regular attendee of pre season training, and would like a run out in the fixture please contact Des on 07747367076, or club captain Ricky Neale on 07554717577.

We would love to see plenty of support on the sidelines, so please come along if you are able. If any of our Tiger Cubs are interested in helping a guard of honour for the players, please can they be pitch side by 14.50, ready to wave the flags and roar the team onto the pitch.

There is plenty more happening beyond the rugby as well!! There will be a BBQ running throughout the day as well as Grumpy Bakes in the snack shack providing the sweet treats. Then once the games have finished, EOSA will be putting on drinks and a disco into the evening so why not stay on and welcome in the new season with us.
